New School Year
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Pride:
With the school year beginning we will have some new faces to welcome and train, many small things to clean up and refine, and a fresh start with our facilities. It is my goal for this year to foster as much student ownership in what we are, what we represent, and the environment that we work in is as possible. You are the Pride of the Valley. You are talented. You are family. Remember to act like it! I believe that this band can do anything it decides to and I am looking forward to a great year! I hope each of you is as well.
Practice Tues/Thurs Night: 6-8PM
See you in class.
You Are The Pride,
Mr. B

Painting the Field
Well Ladies and Gents:
The fact of the matter is this:
Rain is predicted for the weekend. I waited until late this evening to call this decision. Weather providing, I think it best to paint tomorrow @ 4PM. Well will be done by 7PM at the latest. If it is raining at 3:30PM at Clear Fork HS, we are canceled. I understand that you are young and have plans for Friday night. I have no problem painting alone. That said I appreciate everyone's contribution. If you are able to help out, be at the HS by 3:30pm to follow me, or meet me at the camp mowana athletic fields at 4pm. Everyone: I respect your time, your efforts, and your talent. These things are never taken for granted. If you have a date, go on your date. If you are able to help please do.
You are the pride and we are all in this together:
Jason

Well Done!!
Thank you everyone for giving up a part of your holiday to spend with the band. You played nicely and represented the band well in the community. Always remember that the fourth is a day to consider the benefits and responsibilities of freedoms that we take for granted in our daily lives. Marking Independence Day with music is a worthwhile endeavor and a meaningful way for musicians to serve the community with their talents.
